March 30th, 2008

In early Mar 08, i talked about using facebook in your networking and since then…my network has balloon to over 250+ buddies and i make a lot of new friends, including those big names! And i have many connections from there.

Check it out here!

Man, you simply couldn’t under-estimate the power of the social media network.

To talk more about that, i started to explore into another web2.0 tool that many people are using, that’s Twitter! Have you been twittering??

Add me here!

In fact i just started playing with them yesterday and i have already got 2 people following me. I really like the idea of social media stuff where you can connect with almost anybody on the planet earth as long as they are on the internet.

I see that social media or web2.0 is the way business should move forward, even for a small business like home-based internet business.

Every business is really about connection, and connection would not happen overnight! You need time to build it.

So do something today, and connect with people in your market and you will never know who you will came across.

Talk soon,

Thomas

PS: Do you believe that i connected with Steve Job from Apple?

You Can Have The Whole Galaxy On Your Browser!

March 16th, 2008

Hey, it’s weekend and i did some readings and found a new technology that Google is developing..I’m speechless.

Find out why.

It’s really the latest technology at its play. I’m sure you are familiar with the Google Map service which is very easy to use and i personally find it easy to find any place on earth, just type in any location and Google will bring you round the whole world in seconds! There’s no other service that is such powerful at this moment.

Now, with the same platform, Google is bringing the whole universe, galaxy onto your browser. Period.

Go try it. It’s really mind blowing. Go take a tour round the sun….

Thumbs up, Google Sky!

Until next time,
Thomas

Are You Using Facebook Yet In Your Networking?

March 3rd, 2008

 My FaceBook Profile

I bet most of you have a Facebook account..

Check out my profile here.

In case you are not aware, Facebook has since becoming one of the biggest online social website and the rate of growth is really tremendous!

How can you really make use of this website to increase the awareness of your online business? Many people have come out with ebooks and home courses to teach you on that, in fact you don’t need to.

Go and use it, try it, feel it! That’s the best way, I guess.

In fact, when i first started using this little website, i was like not so used to it. The interface is so simple. If you noticed, Myspace has recently modified their interface and do something quite similar to Facebook, they have realised the power of this little competitor has created. It has also since become the little giant in the social industry. Go to Alexa and check out the graph, you will be Amazed! And if you do a comparison of Myspace with Facebook traffic trend, you will noticed that they are actually going at different path. Go and take a look.

Now, this is how i used Facebook.

1. First step

Create an account if you have not done so, it takes only few seconds.

2. Second step

Put in some simple information that you want to share with the future friends. Write something simple and put your website on your profile. This can create a lot of awareness for your business(Free Traffic for you!), i guess any business is about creating awareness and branding yourself.

3. Third step

Go and make friends! As simple as that. Now…don’t spam the people. Make real friends and start talking to them, see what they are doing online..If you are found spamming, your account may get banned, check out their profile. You can make some great friend there. The idea behind Facebook founder is that, Internet is full of spamming nowadays and people are sick of it. Just look at Myspace.

Now, you never know when you will need friend.

In fact i have some good networking and deals being made through the network…so this is what I have experienced and you should do it also.

Tip: Check out some of the famous internet marketer profile and make friends with them and theirs too!

That’s how i started in Facebook. You don’t need to spend the whole day looking at Facebook (in fact some people does!). Just do it consistently, daily, and your network will grow very fast.

When you have certain amount of network, people will add you naturally.

Tip: People want to make friends with people that has many friends, sounds logical right?

Okay. That’s all for today. I will share with you more about that later on…

Don’t forget to add me there!

Where Is The Internet Heading To? Probably Here…Who Know?

January 10th, 2008

Internet has changed the way people live, work and play. Totally. Definitely.

Since the creation of Internet, the communication between people are so easy, with just a click of your mouse at the comfort of your home…And a lot of people have also created wealth out of it, if you know how to capitalize and leverage on it.

2007 has definitely marked the important year of how internet would evolve and how people would be using it everyday…for probably the next few years.

If you look at Internet today, it’s full of junk! Who are the real user? Many people are just using Internet to make a quick buck out of you and that’s it! People think that if i can make a small percentage out of the huge internet population, i can make a huge fortune. Who knows? If everybody think alike, then you are effectively marketing to the people who think like you…

So who’s the real internet user?

Are you using Internet appropriately? to the fullest? to live, to work and to play.

Think about it.

Thomas
