What it does is, you can get connected to the key people in your industry at your fingertips; Of course you got to find the correct people to connect with, and usually these people have a relatively large number of people / fans following them on twitter.

Just setup an account and start following your industry expert and learn about what they do.

The cool things about this stuff is that, when the expert shares info among the expert, you get to chip in and see those information.
