Actually what you’ve so kindly listed are the basic steps to make a decent income from being an affiliate marketer that have appeared in so many internet marketing e-books. But most people who purchase the e-book just won’t do these steps or even do them on a consistent basis because they felt that it’s not get-rich-quick enough or it involves too much work. But sometimes the “gurus” have painted a picture in the sale copy that internet marketing is easy money and many people who want lazy money just couldn’t resist of such an “opportunity”.

You are right. There’s lot of stuff out there which gives people a sense of wrong impression that internet marketing is a fast and lazy money. It’s definitely not true. We need to put in a lot of efforts and real work behind.
